Our Usual Debt Collection ( for ex- curia cases i.e. not requiring intervention of our attorneys) Contingency Rates :
• From 18% (for min. US$ 20 K or equivalent in other currencies) to 10% (for sums standing at US$ 70 K or over ) in Business/Commercial accounts less than 180 days from date of oldest invoice.
• From 20 % (for min. US$ 20 K ) to 10% (for sums standing at US$ 70 K ) in Business/Commercial accounts between 180 to 365- days old from date of oldest invoice.
• From 23% (for min. US$ 20 K ) to 13% (for sums standing at US$ 70 K ) in Business/Commercial accounts exceeding 366 days from date of oldest invoice.
• 24% Individual/Consumer accounts, returned checks and all accounts under US$20 k on the caveat that our firm reserves the right to refuse to take up or to proceed further on collection of any consumer account if it is persuaded that repayment is indeed beyond the financial means of the debtor.
• 25% to 28% for all accounts forwarded to our attorneys for their involvement in collection/litigation. In other words, forwarded accounts are collected on a contingency basis. However, should litigation/execution be required, there would be additional charges. These charges (i.e. court costs, suit fees or any other fees or disbursements) would be in addition to the contingency rate and would be required in advance and would not be incurred without your prior authority.
• If a lawsuit is necessary, the contingency collection fee is 28% for commercial accounts and 35% for consumer accounts and our client pays court costs as determined by the individual court. However, no lawsuit will commence, nor will costs be incurred without prior client approval. Again the foregoing caveat regarding any individual (non-institutions only) debtor or for collection of any consumer account could apply as.
NB: Claims which are not accompanied by supporting documents or relate to institutions out of business or are under US$ 2k are rejected.
